SpiderControlTM is used in:

  • Measurement and cleanroom technology
  • Room control
  • Air conditioning
  • Building management, etc.

SpiderControlTM is used by numerous market-leading manufacturers as a proven OEM product, for example in building automation. But the innovative SpiderControlTM tool can also be obtained directly via iniNet Solutions. SpiderControlTM is docked on the field and control level to the most important standards, such as: KNX, CoDeSys or BACnet. This opens the project developers the opportunity to realize – with the same technology base – a solution for almost all products, without being able to duplication. This innovative SCADA product multiplies customer demand enormously. Existing functionalities e.g. in the lead plane can be easily and quickly reused.

With the semantic compatibility, SpiderControlTM is not only compatible with common controls and their protocols, but also understands and also uses their functions and objects on a semantic level.

The advantage is that the HMI from the control system is simply passed on to SCADA and the various displays so that the implementation effort remains extremely low. This is achieved through semantic compatibility, which distinguishes the software from iniNet Solutions!

With SpiderControlTM , the HMIs are compatible with the control level as well as to the protocols.

Your benefit:

SpiderControlTM also means the highest compatibility with existing systems because SpiderControlTM  is used as an OEM component by well-known PLC manufacturers. This results in considerable savings potential.

Web-Visu Import: Read from the controls
The new Spider SCADA HMI-Editor is able to read and convert web visualizations directly from the controls. The user only needs to enter the URL of the corresponding HMI project on the PLC and the tool automatically imports the entire project, which is displayed as thumbnails. From this selection, either entire pages can be inserted into a SCADA project or existing HMI objects can be reused in new pages by copy-paste. The user can not only maintain his existing investments, but also use them in other projects. Web-Visu projects made with SpiderControlTM (or an OEM version thereof) can be imported as CoDeSys Web-Visu projects (V2.x).

Trend & Alarm Harvesting: Read even more from the PLC
The new SCADA can now recognize a variety of common formats of alarm and trend recording on the PLC, which automatically centralize and record these at the push of a button. All information from the log recording as well as the message texts stored on the PLC are automatically transferred to the SCADA, resulting in a considerable labor saving.

However, user can benefit from further advantages:

  • Low engineering costs
  • Reuse of OEM solutions
  • Planable and transparent investments
  • Reduce hardware costs by using MicroBrowser clients
  • Low training costs, since the training effort is minimal
  • Reduction of the sources of errors by means of a uniform visualization concept, etc.

KNX panel

The amena70-KNX is a 7 “touch panel for building automation.
This provides a cost-effective way to equip KNX installations with a graphical user interface. Without additional engineering effort, the visualization is directly parameterized with the ETS software. The visualization and user interface is automatically generated when the configuration is downloaded to the touch panel. This works without any special software – there is no need for training and no additional engineering efforts.
If the customer wants to individualize the interface later, the automatically generated visualization can be adapted via SpiderControlTM  HMI-Editor. Mobile Apps for Android and iOS enable users to use smartphones or tablets with the same << look and feel >> as well.
The touch panel can be installed with the tci flush-mounted socket in the wall or optionally in a standard flush-mounted box in front of the wall. The configuration is stored completely in the touch panel. This ensures consistency between the ETS project and visualization.

BACnet HMI Editor

Beckhoff offers PLCs with integrated BACnet stack, which can be configured directly via Beckhoff tools. iniNet Solutions, in close collaboration with Beckhoff, offers a specially adapted HMI-Editor and the associated Web-Server. Via this Web-Server it is possible to access variables from the IEC61131 project as well as from BACnet and the BACnet Notification Sink via three preinstalled drivers. For this, there are HMI macros for BACnet, which can be linked directly to the BACnet alarm, trend and scheduler objects.

CoDeSys Web-Visu

There are a number of CoDeSys programmable controllers, which provide comprehensive functions for building automation and are often used in this segment.
SpiderControlTM is compatible with CoDeSys Web-Visu and can thus not only export HMI objects, but also interpret the configuration of alarms, alarm texts and trend traces. The SpiderControlTM MicroBrowser provides a powerful client on cheap Web-Panels or smartphones. The SpiderControlTM SCADA editor can import these HMI and trend / alarm configurations into the SpiderControlTM technology platform. This is the connection to HTML5, MicroBrowser and to the automated engineering.

SpiderControlTM  HMI on PLC

For many years, the SpiderControlTM editor for HMI design has been used directly on the PLC’s Web-Server (Beckhoff, Simatic, Wago, etc.). Trend and alarm logs can also be recorded on the WinCE-based controllers. All this information can be imported and reused by the SpiderControlTM SCADA. Controllers can be distributed and autonomously operated. The superordinate SCADA server consolidates the information, forms the master level and ensures long-term archiving. Because the visualization also runs directly on the PLC (for local operation and as a back-up level) this concept is very reliable and fail-safe.

SAIA Burgess

SAIA-Burgess PCD is a widely used control platform in the building automation industry, which has a long history of a Web-Server and corresponding Web-HMIs. In the programming tool PG5, there are extensive HEAVAC function libraries with the corresponding HMI objects. The SpiderControlTM  SCADA Editor can also import these HMI and trend / alarm configurations and thus offer an automated design flow.
