The MicroBrowser is available as a web client for every operating system – from Android and Linux to the latest Microsoft Windows version. It is particularly powerful on micro-controller architectures such as the Cortex M3 / M4 /M7 family, enabling cost-effective and robust panel solutions. However, it is also ideally suited as an OEM component for integration into a customer application or as the basis for an OEM app.
The MicroBrowser only supports SpiderControl and CODESYS (V2.3 and V3.5) HMIs. It is based on reverse engineering of these tools and does not support generic HTML5. It is written in C, including all libraries, and can therefore also be run on bare-metal hardware with a small footprint. Great performance at a low price! This enables you to save a lot of money and also get more robust hardware.
And what can the AutomationBrowser do? Do you need full HTML5 compatibility and additional features (multimedia, VNC, consistent touch operation) that are not possible with a standard Chromium? Then take a look at the MicroBrowser’s big brother, the AutomationBrower.
